About Mallak
Mallak Anani is a dedicated community leader whose life’s work is rooted in improving education through advocacy in both the courts and the legislature. A former high school teacher and three-time graduate of the University of Michigan, she earned her Juris Doctor, Master of Public Policy, and Bachelor of Arts, equipping her with deep expertise in education, public policy, and civil rights
As a proud product of Dearborn Public Schools, Mallak is passionate about strengthening public education and creating greater opportunities for students and families in her community. She is a devoted mother, wife, and one of eight siblings.

Mallak believes that strong schools and strong communities are deeply connected. She is committed to engaging with parents, educators, and community members to guide policy decisions, uphold accountability, and ensure every student is set up for success.
